Daily Quests
The daily quest is a quick, reliable way to earn gold and skill XP. You’ll find it at Pip’s notice board in Town.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Pip keeps the notice board in Town. Walk up and click it to see today’s quest, which asks you to:
- Deliver N of an item, where N is between 2 and 5.
- The item is a crop, wood, a fish, or stone.
Once you’ve gathered enough of the requested item, hand them in at the board to claim your reward.
Rewards
Section titled “Rewards”Completing the quest gives you both gold and XP:
- Gold = round(item value × N × 1.4)
- XP is added to the skill that item belongs to (for example, a crop quest gives Farming XP, a fish quest gives Fishing XP).
The ×1.4 bonus means the quest pays better than simply selling those items, so it’s worth doing whenever the requested item is something you can gather.
Example
Section titled “Example”If the quest asks for 3 Carrots (base value 25g each):
- Gold = round(25 × 3 × 1.4) = 105 gold
- Plus Farming XP for the Carrots delivered.
Refresh
Section titled “Refresh”The quest refreshes daily, so check the board each day for a new item and target. It’s a steady source of gold and a nice nudge toward whichever skill the day’s quest favors.
