Mining
Mining takes place in the Quarry, where you break stone and — once you’ve leveled up — dig out valuable gems.
Stone and gem nodes
Section titled “Stone and gem nodes”The Quarry has 12 stone nodes and 5 gem nodes. Walk up close and click a node to mine it. Each action roots you in place with a tool gesture and a “Working…” badge.
| Resource | Unlocks at | Action time | Respawn | XP | Sell price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stone | Mining Lv1 | 1.2s | 20s | 10 | 10g |
| Gem | Mining Lv3 | 1.3s | 45s | 30 | 60g |
Stone is available from the start. Gems unlock at Mining Lv3 — they take longer to respawn, but they’re worth far more.
Why gems are worth it
Section titled “Why gems are worth it”A gem sells for 60g and grants 30 XP, compared to 10g and 10 XP for stone. They’re the standout payout in the Quarry, so once you’ve reached Mining Lv3, work the gem nodes whenever they’re ready.
Stone, meanwhile, doubles as a Crafting material, so you may want to save some rather than sell it all.
