Town
Town is Sproutville’s social heart and the home of Woodcutting. It’s a shared multiplayer map, so you’ll spot other players walking around, chatting in speech bubbles, and chopping alongside you.
What you do here
Section titled “What you do here”Town is where you gather wood, buy and sell goods, and pick up your daily quest. It’s also where most of the friendly faces live.
Woodcutting
Section titled “Woodcutting”There are 24 choppable trees scattered around Town. Walk up to a ready tree, click it, and after a 1.1s chop you’ll get Wood plus XP. Each tree regrows 30s after you fell it, so there’s almost always one ready nearby.
- Wood sells for 8g and gives 8 XP per chop.
- Wood is also a key crafting material — bring it back to your Farm to build decorations.
See the full guide on the Woodcutting page.
NPCs in Town
Section titled “NPCs in Town”| NPC | Role | What they do |
|---|---|---|
| Clover | Shop | The general store — buy the 6 starter crop seeds and sell your harvest at base price. |
| Maple | Vendor (botanist) | Buys your crops at ×1.25 of base price and sells premium, level-gated seeds. |
| Pip | Quests | Keeps the notice board with the daily quest. |
| Rosa | Flavor | The flower-stall regular. |
| Dill | Flavor | A sleepy gardener. |
| Wendy | Flavor | The kind-hearted town gossip. |
Rosa, Dill, and Wendy don’t sell anything — they’re here for the cozy atmosphere and ambient chatter. For everyone’s details, see NPCs.
Shopping and selling
Section titled “Shopping and selling”Clover’s shop is your go-to for starter seeds and for selling any harvest at base price. For better deals and exclusive seeds, talk to the vendors. Learn how gold works on the Shop & gold page, and compare the best buy/sell rates on the Vendors page.
Multiplayer
Section titled “Multiplayer”Town is a shared room, so you share it with other players on your World. You’ll see their nametags (“Lv N · name”), their characters, and their chat bubbles. Up to 15 players fit per room, and busy Worlds auto-shard so it never feels too crowded.
Travel
Section titled “Travel”Click a wooden travel sign at the edge of Town to head to another map — the Farm, Beach, or Quarry.
