Quick Start

This guide walks a brand-new player from opening the game to their first harvest, first gold, and first quest. It only takes a few minutes to get rolling.

Head to www.sproutville.fun in your browser. The first time you visit, you’ll go through a short onboarding before you spawn into the world.

You can play one of two ways: with a Solana wallet, or as a guest.

  1. Connect a Solana wallet. This is connect-only — it never moves your tokens.
  2. Choose a name — up to 8 characters, and it must be globally unique (no one else can have it).
  3. Pick a character — Cube Guy, Cube Woman, or Miner.

Wallet progress is saved to the cloud and synced across devices, so you can pick up where you left off. Returning wallet players skip onboarding and go straight in. See Wallet & saves for details.

Prefer to just try it? Choose a name (up to 8 characters, and it does not need to be unique) and pick a character — no wallet needed.

Heads up: guest progress is not saved. A guest starts fresh every visit, so anything you do is local to this browser session only.

At the lobby, pick World A or World B. Each shows a live player count, and a full World is disabled. Your World choice sticks for the session across map changes, so friends who pick the same World stay together.

You spawn with 50 gold. Here’s a simple first run:

  1. Buy seeds. In Town, walk up to Clover (the general store) and buy a few Turnip seeds — they’re cheap (5g each) and quick to grow.
  2. Plant and grow. Travel to the Farm, click an empty garden plot to plant your seed, water it, then wait for it to grow. When it’s ready, click it to harvest. See Farming for the full flow.
  3. Chop a tree. Back in Town, click a ready tree to chop it for Wood and Woodcutting XP.
  4. Sell your harvest. Sell crops and wood at Clover’s shop for gold (you’ll learn about better vendor deals later). See Shop & gold.
  5. Take a quest. Visit Pip at the notice board in Town to pick up the daily quest — deliver a few of an item for a gold-and-XP reward.

That’s the whole loop in miniature: gather, sell, level up, repeat. From here, branch out to the Beach (fishing), the Quarry (mining), and crafting on your Farm.
