Woodcutting
Woodcutting is how you gather Wood, one of the two materials you’ll need for Crafting. You do it in Town.
Chopping trees
Section titled “Chopping trees”Town has 24 choppable trees. Walk up to a ready tree (you need to be close to interact) and click it to chop. Each chop gives you Wood and Woodcutting XP, takes about 1.1s, and roots you in place with a tool gesture and a “Working…” badge.
After a tree is chopped, it regrows after 30s, so there’s always something to cut if you keep moving between trees.

What Wood is for
Section titled “What Wood is for”Wood does two jobs:
- Crafting material — it’s the main ingredient in most decoration recipes. See Crafting.
- Gold — you can sell Wood for 8g each if you’d rather cash it in.
Because Wood is a crafting material, it’s often worth saving rather than selling, especially when you’re building up your Farm decorations.
